I am fascinated with identity and individuality. Every person has eyes, a nose, and a mouth, but the differences in the shapes, forms, and composition of these features on each face is remarkable. With 80 Dlist Boys I wanted to showcase the beauty and uniqueness of the individual.
Each drawing is done in the same 4 x 6" Moleskine sketchbook, with the same 2H pencil and Micron pens, in the same place on the page. By using the same process and materials for each portrait, the the only variable remaining was the individuality of the portrait.
